White House Dismisses Reports of Trump Visit to Pakistan as ‘Unfounded’

The White House has categorically denied media reports suggesting that US President Donald Trump is planning a visit to Pakistan, stating that no such trip has been scheduled.

“A trip to Pakistan has not been scheduled at this time,” a White House official told ANI, rejecting recent claims circulated by several Pakistani news outlets.

Earlier in the day, some Pakistani television channels reported—citing unnamed sources—that President Trump was expected to visit Islamabad in September and might travel to India afterward. However, these reports were later retracted, according to Dawn newspaper.

Pakistan’s Foreign Office also denied having any knowledge of such plans. “We have no information about this matter,” said Foreign Office spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan.

The last time a US president visited Pakistan was in 2006, when George W. Bush made an official trip to Islamabad.

Meanwhile, confirmed travel plans show that President Trump will visit Scotland from July 25 to 29 for trade-related discussions with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer. During the visit, he is scheduled to stop in Turnberry and Aberdeen.

Additionally, Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will travel to the United Kingdom for a state visit from September 17 to 19. During the visit, they will be hosted by King Charles at Windsor Castle—a historic second state visit for the US President.
