On Easter Sunday, former U.S. President Donald Trump sparked fresh controversy by combining holiday greetings with a fiery political tirade posted on his social media platform, Truth Social.

In a series of posts, Trump harshly criticized President Joe Biden, liberal figures, members of the judiciary, and law enforcement officials. He accused them of enabling criminal activity and compromising national security.

“Happy Easter to all, including the Radical Left Lunatics who are fighting and scheming so hard to bring Murderers, Drug Lords, Dangerous Prisoners, the Mentally Insane, and well-known MS-13 Gang Members and Wife Beaters, back into our Country,” Trump wrote. “Happy Easter also to the WEAK and INEFFECTIVE Judges and Law Enforcement Officials who are allowing this sinister attack on our Nation to continue, an attack so violent that it will never be forgotten!”

Trump did not hold back in his attack on Biden, whom he again labeled “Sleepy Joe.” He accused the President of overseeing what he called a disastrous open border policy, which he claimed had allowed millions of criminals to enter the United States unchecked.

“Sleepy Joe Biden purposefully allowed Millions of CRIMINALS to enter our Country, totally unvetted and unchecked… the single most calamitous act ever perpetrated upon America,” Trump said. He also made baseless claims about the 2020 election being rigged and implied that Biden was being manipulated behind the scenes.

Despite the combative tone of his initial posts, Trump later shared a more traditional Easter message, writing, “Melania and I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Easter! Whether you are heading out to Church or, watching Service from home, may this day be full of Peace and Joy for all who celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. HE IS RISEN!!”

During an Easter prayer service earlier in the day, Trump struck an optimistic note, saying, “With God’s help, we can overcome any challenge, triumph over every evil, and restore the spirit of faith in the United States for generations to come.”

Trump’s remarks, characteristically pointed and politically charged, drew sharp reactions across social media and news platforms, as critics and supporters clashed over his blending of religious sentiment with political vitriol.
