Janata Dal (United) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, who is leading one of India’s all-party parliamentary delegations under Operation Sindoor, called on the international community to abandon neutrality and unite against terrorism, specifically highlighting Pakistan’s role in sponsoring cross-border terrorism.

Speaking during an interaction with ambassadors and diplomats from Brazil, Australia, Colombia, Greece, and South Korea in Tokyo, Jha emphasized that India’s battle against terrorism is a global fight.

“Today, India is the victim. Tomorrow, it could be you. Don’t be a fence-sitter. The fight against terrorism is for everyone,” he stated.

Jha described Pakistan’s actions as state-sponsored terrorism, stating that the country funds, trains, and dispatches terrorists not only to India but to other parts of the world. He said every major terrorist attack globally has links that can be traced back to Pakistan.

“Enough is enough. If anything happens to our citizens, we will hit back. We will retaliate,” Jha said, echoing Prime Minister Modi’s assertion that a “new normal” has been established in India’s counterterrorism policy.

Drawing a personal connection to peace, Jha referenced his home state of Bihar, the birthplace of Buddhism:

“Buddhism stands for Ahimsa—for peace. And to preserve peace, the world must stand united against terror.”

The all-party delegation’s visit to Japan from May 22–24 includes high-level meetings with Japanese leaders, including Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya, former Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga, and Takashi Endo, Chairman of Japan’s House Committee on National Security.

In these meetings, India reiterated its zero-tolerance policy on terrorism, receiving continued support from Japan. The delegation also engaged with leading Japanese think tanks, where participants expressed strong solidarity with India’s anti-terrorism efforts.

India launched Operation Sindoor in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians. It involved precision strikes on terror infrastructure in Pakistan and PoK, followed by a firm military stance that prompted a ceasefire understanding between the two countries.

This diplomatic mission, led by MPs from across political lines, demonstrates India’s unified and resolute stand in its outreach to the global community—urging the world to confront terrorism with collective conviction and zero compromise.
