Additionally, he will review the progress of the 2047 Horizon Roadmap for India-France strategic relations with President Macron.

The two leaders will also travel to Marseille for the inauguration of India’s first consulate in France. PM Modi will visit the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) project and pay homage to Indian soldiers who died in World War I and II at the Mazargues War Cemetery.

After his time in France, PM Modi will continue his trip with a visit to the United States, where he will meet President Donald Trump for a two-day visit. Ahead of his departure to France, PM Modi expressed enthusiasm about meeting President Trump: “I look forward to meeting my friend, President Trump. This will be our first meeting after his historic electoral victory and inauguration in January. I have fond memories of working together during his first term to build a Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership between India and the US.”
