Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Friday addressed members of the Indian diaspora in Spain during the ‘Madhya Pradesh Global Dialogue 2025’, highlighting the state’s growing appeal as a prime investment destination.

Speaking at the event, Yadav expressed pride in Madhya Pradesh being recognised as the “first choice of investors,” contributing significantly to India’s overall development. “We are proud that Madhya Pradesh is playing a leading role in the nation’s progress. Together, with a team spirit, we will take this saga of pride to new heights,” he shared in a post on X.

As part of his official visit, CM Yadav also held a roundtable discussion in Barcelona with leading European textile machinery manufacturers and experts, aiming to attract foreign investment under the ‘Make in India’ and ‘Make in Madhya Pradesh’ campaigns.

Yadav stated that the meeting featured constructive discussions on establishing advanced production units in Madhya Pradesh and transforming the state into a global textile machinery hub.

The roundtable served to showcase Madhya Pradesh’s investor-friendly policies, Special Economic Zones (SEZs), dedicated textile parks, and incentive schemes aimed at fostering sustainable and technologically advanced manufacturing.

The official statement noted that key representatives from major textile machinery firms in the US, Italy, and Spain participated in the discussions. Prominent Madhya Pradesh-based companies such as Best Corp, Pratibha Syntex, Shreeji Polymers, and DB Group also took part.

CM Yadav reiterated his commitment to technology transfer and sustainable production, inviting European companies to set up manufacturing units in the state as part of a broader push to position Madhya Pradesh on the global industrial map.
