Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, during his visit to the United Arab Emirates for the Global Dialogue 2025, praised the Indian diaspora, likening them to “sugar in milk” for their ability to blend in and enrich societies across the globe.

At an interactive session with the Madhya Pradesh diaspora in Dubai, CM Yadav said, “The Indian community has always been like sugar in milk — they mix and give sweetness.” He credited the diaspora for promoting India’s culture and influence abroad, embodying the spirit of “Virasat Se Vikas” (progress through heritage), a vision emphasized by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Highlighting India’s growing global stature, he said, “Today, there’s a wave of India across the world — and it’s because of PM Modi. Wherever people want to go globally, they think of India. Everyone wants a photo with him — it makes us proud.”

Yadav also underscored Modi’s efforts to address issues concerning Indians both within and outside the country. “We’ve seen him take decisive action not only for citizens at home but also for Indians living abroad,” he remarked.

Speaking about economic development and investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh, CM Yadav assured the diaspora of the state’s investor-friendly policies. “If you want to open a medical college, we’ll provide land for just one rupee,” he declared. He also noted the success of the state’s recent investors’ summit, which garnered investments worth ₹30 lakh crore.

The Consul General of India in Dubai, Satish Kumar Sivan, welcomed CM Yadav and highlighted the vast presence of Indians in the UAE, stating that over 44 lakh Indians consider the country their second home. He added, “Madhya Pradesh is not only the heart of India but also the heart of the Indian diaspora in the UAE.”

As part of his visit, CM Yadav also offered prayers at the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi during the Guru Purnima celebrations. He was deeply moved by the temple’s spiritual ambiance and architecture and was especially touched to find sacred soil from Jabalpur — the birthplace of Mahant Swami Maharaj — at the site.

Calling the temple a “global symbol of spiritual harmony and cultural unity,” he praised its message of timeless values and devotion.

CM Yadav’s official visit, scheduled from July 13 to 19, includes stops in the UAE and Spain. The mission aims to attract global investment, encourage technology collaboration, and create new employment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh.
