Global Leaders Condemn Pahalgam Terror Attack, Offer Full Support to India in Fight Against Terrorism

World leaders have united in condemning the deadly terror attack that struck Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22, 2025, which claimed 26 innocent lives. As India mourns the loss, heads of state from around the globe have reached out to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, offering condolences and pledging support in the fight against terrorism.

US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance both expressed their deepest sympathies, condemning the attack and reaffirming America’s commitment to standing alongside India in the battle against terror. Other senior US officials, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, also condemned the violence.

Leaders from the UAE, Australia, Israel, France, Italy, Japan, and the UK also conveyed their condolences, strongly condemning the attack and pledging solidarity with India. They reaffirmed the need for international cooperation to combat terrorism in all its forms.

President Mohamed Bin Zayed of the UAE, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and other prominent leaders, including French President Emmanuel Macron and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, expressed support for India’s ongoing efforts to bring the attackers to justice.

Neighboring countries such as Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Mauritius echoed these sentiments, offering both condolences and a collective commitment to fight terrorism alongside India.

The condemnation came as global leaders emphasized the need for unity in the face of such heinous acts, underlining that terrorism has no justification. Prime Minister Modi thanked all international leaders for their unwavering support, reiterating India’s determination to hold the perpetrators accountable for this tragic attack.
