FBI Probes “Targeted Terror Attack” at Boulder’s Pearl Street Mall, Several Injured

FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed on Sunday that the agency is actively investigating a “targeted terror attack” that occurred at Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, Colorado. The incident, which took place at the intersection of 13th Street and Pearl Street on Sunday afternoon (local time), resulted in multiple injuries, according to a report by ABC News.

In a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), Director Patel wrote, “We are aware of and fully investigating a targeted terror attack in Boulder, Colorado. Our agents and local law enforcement are on the scene already, and we will share updates as more information becomes available.”

Boulder police, along with federal authorities, responded swiftly to the scene. As part of the investigation and security response, authorities evacuated a large section of the downtown area. The evacuation zone extended from Broadway to the west, Pine Street to the north, 16th Street to the east, and Walnut Street to the south.

While details regarding the motive or suspect remain unclear, law enforcement agencies have urged the public to stay clear of the area as the investigation continues. More updates are expected as officials gather further information.
