The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has announced plans to hold an “Aakrosh Yatra” across multiple locations in Delhi on Sunday to protest against the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The procession aims to condemn the brutal attack and rally support for stringent action against the perpetrators.

VHP leader Vinod Bansal informed ANI that the yatra will begin at 5 pm from the ISKCON Temple in East of Kailash, with a second procession starting from Badarpur at 5:45 pm. “Every citizen of India now has to forget everything and unite to eradicate anti-India elements,” Bansal said, emphasizing the need for national solidarity.

In addition to the yatra, the VHP has initiated a ‘yagya’ at the Arya Samaj Mandir in Sant Nagar, East of Kailash, to offer strength and solace to the families of the victims. The ritual, which began on Ekadashi, will continue until the terrorists responsible for the attack are brought to justice, and “Jihadi terrorism” is eradicated, according to Bansal.

The attack, which took place on Tuesday at Baisaran meadow, resulted in the deaths of 25 Indian nationals and one Nepali citizen, with several others injured. It has been described as one of the deadliest in the region since the 2019 Pulwama strike, which claimed the lives of 40 CRPF jawans.

In response, the central government has vowed to bring the terrorists and their conspirators to justice, with opposition parties expressing full support for the government’s actions against the perpetrators of the attack.
