The Kumbh of 2027 will be in Haridwar, and we have already started preparations for it,” he said.
Earlier on Sunday, CM Dhami inspected the Uttarakhand Mandapam set up for Mahakumbh 2025. During the visit, he met with pilgrims staying at the Mandapam and inquired about their well-being. The Uttarakhand government has established this facility to serve as a platform for devotees to experience the culture of Uttarakhand.
In addition to the inspection, Dhami reviewed the accommodation and food arrangements provided for the pilgrims from Uttarakhand. He emphasized the significance of the Uttarakhand Mandapam as a space for both domestic and international devotees to connect with the state’s rich culture.
CM Dhami also participated in the ‘Samnata Ke Saath Samrasata’ program alongside Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri of the Niranjani Akhara and Parmarth Niketan’s Chief Chidanand Saraswati. Additionally, he attended the Gyan Mahakumbh “Indian Education: National Concept” program organized at the event.
As of Sunday, approximately 8.4 million devotees had taken a holy dip at the Maha Kumbh 2025, with more than 420 million devotees having participated in the ritual so far, according to the Uttar Pradesh government.
