Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has assured that allottees allegedly “cheated” by the Ansal Group will receive justice. Speaking to ANI on Tuesday, Pathak stated, “I have come to know that all of Ansal’s allottees have been cheated. The matter has come to the notice of the government. The Chief Minister has ordered strict action. In every situation, the allottees there will get justice.”

The assurance comes after Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed the registration of FIRs against the Ansal Group for allegedly duping homebuyers. The CM called for FIRs to be registered in all districts where buyers were affected and announced the formation of a special team to ensure strict action against the group.

In a separate address at the UP legislative assembly, CM Yogi Adityanath criticized the opposition for spreading “negative propaganda” about the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. He praised the event for showcasing the state’s capability to organize a grand and successful congregation.

“The negative propaganda and misinformation that was spread had no impact on the faith of the people of the country. Your attempts to spread negativity were unsuccessful. Neither the people of Uttar Pradesh nor the country believed your words. Soon, the public will stop listening to you,” the CM said.

He further emphasized that the Maha Kumbh demonstrated not only the state’s organizational strength but also India’s global potential. According to the CM, the event played a crucial role in the sustainable development of Prayagraj, significantly improving the city’s infrastructure.

“Organizing the Mahakumbh is part of a broader plan for the sustainable development of the holy and traditional city of Prayagraj,” he added, highlighting the long-term vision behind the event.
