Businessman Robert Vadra, accompanied by his wife and Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi, appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Delhi on Tuesday for a second consecutive day of questioning in connection with the Gurugram land case.

Ahead of his appearance, Vadra addressed the media, asserting that he and his family were being targeted due to their political relevance. “Hum kisi se darte nahi hai… We are the target because we are relevant. Whether Rahul Gandhi is stopped in Parliament or I am stopped outside,” Vadra said.

Expressing frustration over repeated summons, Vadra claimed he had already been questioned extensively. “I’ve appeared before the agency 15 times, sat through 10 hours of questioning, and submitted over 23,000 documents. Even ED officials were surprised that I was being asked the same questions from 2019,” he said.

He also referred to a previous investigation in Haryana, stating, “The administration found nothing wrong. Former CM Khattar gave me a clean chit. So why am I being questioned again after seven years?”

Despite what he called a politically motivated investigation, Vadra affirmed he had no intention of fleeing. “I am not going to run away. Use as many agencies as you like—I have nothing to hide,” he said.

Vadra called the repeated scrutiny a result of “political vendetta” by the BJP-led government and criticized what he termed a “witch hunt” against opposition voices, especially Rahul Gandhi. “We are not soft targets—we are hard targets and will only get stronger,” he added.

He also took to social media, emphasizing his commitment to public service and justice. “I’m here for any kind of unjust pressure. I believe in the truth, and the truth will prevail,” he wrote on Facebook.

The ED is currently investigating Vadra in a case linked to alleged irregularities in land deals in Gurugram. He maintains that all transactions were legitimate and above board, calling the probe an attempt to silence dissent.

As he entered the ED office, Vadra received a hug from Priyanka Gandhi—a symbolic gesture of support amid the ongoing political and legal storm.
