Businessman Robert Vadra appeared at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office on Thursday for the third consecutive day of questioning in the Gurugram land case, continuing to assert that the probe is politically motivated.

Accompanied by his wife and Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, he arrived at the ED office in Delhi and addressed the media briefly before entering.
“I have answered all the questions. These are the same ones that were asked back in 2019. There’s nothing new here. This is the government’s style of campaigning — misuse of agencies. But we have the strength to face this, and we will,” Vadra said.

Earlier in the day, Vadra strongly criticized the summons, describing them as part of a broader “political vendetta” against opposition leaders. Speaking to ANI, he questioned the impartiality of investigative agencies under the current government.

“How can there be trust in agencies when they’re being used against any strong opposition voice or potential CM candidate? Why hasn’t a single BJP leader faced similar scrutiny? Are we to believe there are no allegations against them?” he said.

Vadra reiterated his belief that the ED’s renewed action is linked to his recent social media posts on minority issues and growing public calls for him to enter politics.

“The moment I raised my voice against atrocities on minorities and there was talk about me joining politics, this trouble began. This summons has no real basis,” he asserted.

Despite the pressure, Vadra said he remained unfazed: “I grow stronger when I’m harassed or put under pressure. I’m here for the people and will continue to speak up against injustice — no matter what.”

The ED questioning, part of an ongoing investigation into alleged irregularities in a Gurugram land deal, has drawn widespread attention, particularly given Vadra’s political connections and his possible entry into active politics.
