Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has hailed the recent Indian strikes against terror camps, claiming that over 100 terrorists were eliminated in the operation. She commended the Indian Armed Forces for taking decisive action and said the world should be grateful for India’s role in countering global terrorism.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Chaturvedi posted, “Indian strikes killed over 100 terrorists who could potentially carry out attacks in any part of the world. The world should thank the Indian Armed Forces for decisively striking at the heart of terror.”

Her remarks come in support of Operation Sindoor, India’s recent counterterrorism operation launched following escalating cross-border tensions with Pakistan.

In a separate post, Chaturvedi responded to US President Donald Trump’s offer to mediate on the Kashmir issue, firmly rejecting any third-party involvement. “We don’t need a US intervention or of that of any other country to find a solution on Kashmir. Destiny has given us that responsibility, and India must rise up to that challenge,” she stated.

President Trump, speaking via Truth Social, had welcomed the cessation of hostilities between India and Pakistan, warning that the situation could have escalated into a nuclear conflict causing massive casualties. He credited the United States for helping broker peace and reiterated his offer to mediate the long-standing dispute over Jammu and Kashmir.

“Millions of good and innocent people could have died. Your legacy is greatly enhanced by your brave actions,” Trump said, praising the leadership of both nations. He also announced plans to boost trade with India and Pakistan and suggested exploring a resolution to the Kashmir issue.

However, India has repeatedly rejected foreign mediation in Kashmir, maintaining that the matter is a bilateral issue and an internal affair. Officials clarified that the recent ceasefire agreement was reached between the Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs) of the two nations, not through any external intervention.

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar reaffirmed India’s longstanding position: “India and Pakistan have today worked out an understanding on stoppage of firing and military action. India has consistently maintained a firm and uncompromising stance against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. It will continue to do so.”

Chaturvedi’s strong endorsement of India’s military action and rejection of outside interference echoes New Delhi’s message: terrorism will be dealt with firmly, and national sovereignty will not be compromised.
