This year’s event has been hailed as a remarkable spiritual and cultural experience, with attendees from all over the world praising the seamless arrangements made by the authorities.

As of today, over 3.79 million pilgrims had bathed at the Magh Mela in Prayagraj by 8 am, while more than 1 million Kalpwasis are currently residing at the Mela site. The total number of pilgrims visiting the festival today reached 2.79 million, continuing the upward surge of attendance.

Since the festival’s beginning, the total number of devotees who have participated in the holy dip has surpassed 389.7 million as of February 5, 2025. Devotees have been vocal in their gratitude for the smooth management of the event, appreciating the organization of security, sanitation, and facilities that have ensured a peaceful and surreal experience by the Ganges.

A devotee from the gathering shared, “I’ve just returned from the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, and I was amazed by the exceptional arrangements. Despite the huge crowds, I felt blessed and calm. The organizers did a remarkable job managing the crowds. Jai Ganga Bhaiya!”

Ajay Gahlot from Bareilly expressed his fulfillment, saying, “I loved taking a holy dip in Gangajal. It’s been 144 years since the Kumbh, and I feel fortunate to have participated. This was truly a memorable experience. The system was excellent.”

Another visitor, who attended with family, described the experience as extraordinary, stating, “I’m so happy to have experienced the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj with my parents. The holy dip was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I feel truly blessed.”

Manjeet Kaur from Ajmer, Rajasthan, shared her initial apprehensions but praised the arrangements upon her arrival. “I was initially worried after watching videos about the crowds, but once I got here, I found everything well-managed. The bath, the darshan, and the overall experience were excellent. People said one might get lost in the Kumbh, but I didn’t feel any fear at all,” she said.

Amarnath Roy from Buxar echoed similar thoughts, saying, “We took a bath here, and everything has been commendably managed. The arrangements are systematic, ensuring a smooth experience for all devotees.”

Kusum Kumari Pandey, also from Buxar, Bihar, added, “The arrangements are excellent, and we were able to take a peaceful bath. Many of the improvements here are thanks to Modi ji—it’s truly remarkable.”

Earlier on Wednesday, PM Modi participated in the holy Snan at the Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers, describing it as a moment of “divine” connection. In a post on social media, the Prime Minister shared, “Blessed to be at the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. The Snan at the Sangam is a moment of divine connection, and like the crores of others who have taken part in it, I was also filled with a spirit of devotion. May Maa Ganga bless all with peace, wisdom, good health, and harmony.”

The Mahakumbh 2025, which began on Paush Purnima (January 13, 2025), is the world’s largest spiritual gathering, attracting devotees from across the globe.
