Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh on April 11, where he will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate a series of development projects aimed at boosting infrastructure, education, public services, and spiritual heritage.

According to an official statement, the Prime Minister will begin his day in Varanasi around 11 AM, unveiling and initiating development works worth over ₹3,880 crore. Among the key projects are infrastructure enhancements such as a road bridge between the Varanasi Ring Road and Sarnath, flyovers at Bhikharipur and Manduadih, and a highway underpass road tunnel near the Varanasi International Airport — all part of a ₹980 crore initiative to improve road connectivity.

In the energy sector, Modi will inaugurate two 400 KV and one 220 KV transmission substations along with associated transmission lines in Jaunpur, Chandauli, and Ghazipur districts. Additionally, new substations and upgrades to the Varanasi power grid — totaling over ₹1,820 crore — are on the agenda.

For public welfare and law enforcement, he will inaugurate a Transit Hostel at the Police Line and barracks at PAC Ramnagar, and lay foundation stones for administrative and residential facilities at various police establishments.

Focusing on education, the Prime Minister will inaugurate a Government Polytechnic College at Pindra, a government college at Barki, 356 rural libraries, and 100 Anganwadi centres. He will also launch projects for school renovation under the Smart City Mission and new infrastructure for Kasturba Gandhi School.

Sports and cultural projects include the foundation laying for a synthetic hockey turf with floodlights at Uday Pratap College and a mini stadium in Shivpur. Redevelopment projects for Samne Ghat and Shastri Ghat, 130 rural drinking water schemes under the Jal Jeevan Mission, and beautification of parks and municipal wards also feature prominently.

Modi will also initiate community-oriented developments such as a 1 MW solar plant at Bhelupur, infrastructure work at Transport Nagar Scheme, and community halls in 40 gram panchayats. Additionally, he will distribute Ayushman Vay Vandana cards to senior citizens over 70 and present GI certificates for regional specialties like tabla, thandai, and tiranga barfi. A bonus transfer of over ₹105 crore will also be made to milk suppliers associated with Banas Dairy.

In the afternoon, Modi will travel to Madhya Pradesh, reaching Anandpur Dham in Ashoknagar district around 3:15 PM. There, he will perform darshan and pooja at the Guru Ji Maharaj Temple and address a public gathering at 4:15 PM.

Anandpur Dham, managed by the Shri Anandpur Trust, is a major spiritual and philanthropic center spanning 315 hectares. It houses a modern gaushala with over 500 cows, agricultural initiatives, a charitable hospital, schools, and multiple satsang centers across India.

The visit underscores Prime Minister Modi’s continued emphasis on integrated development—combining infrastructure, welfare, culture, and spirituality.
