Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated his 75th birthday in Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar district on Wednesday, where he received a warm welcome from residents and launched several key health, nutrition, and development programmes.

Accompanied by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, PM Modi travelled in an open jeep, greeting people gathered along the route. He also inspected a health camp organised under the ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar’ programme, set to be rolled out in the district today.

The Prime Minister launched the 8th Rashtriya Poshan Maah campaign and laid the foundation stone of projects including the PM MITRA Park. According to an official release, the nationwide nutrition and health campaign will run from September 17 to October 2 across Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, CHCs, district hospitals, and other government health facilities, with over one lakh health camps planned—making it the largest such outreach for women and children in India.

As part of the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, funds were directly transferred to the bank accounts of nearly ten lakh eligible women. Modi also launched the Suman Sakhi Chatbot, designed to provide accurate maternal and child health information to women, especially in rural and remote areas.

Furthering the fight against sickle cell anaemia, he distributed the one-croreth Sickle Cell Screening and Counselling Card in the state.

Under the Adi Karmyogi Abhiyan, the Prime Minister launched the ‘Adi Seva Parv’ for Madhya Pradesh, aimed at integrating tribal pride with nation-building through service-oriented initiatives in health, education, nutrition, skill development, sanitation, water conservation, and environmental protection. Special focus will be placed on the Tribal Village Action Plan and Tribal Village Vision 2030, which seek to prepare long-term development roadmaps.

Highlighting his **5F Vision—Farm to Fibre, Fibre to Factory, Factory to Fashion, and Fashion to Foreign—**PM Modi inaugurated the PM MITRA Park in Dhar, spread across 2,150 acres. Equipped with advanced facilities such as a solar power plant, modern roads, and a Common Effluent Treatment Plant, the park is expected to benefit cotton farmers, attract investments of over ₹23,140 crore, boost exports, and generate around three lakh jobs.

In a symbolic gesture towards environmental conservation and women’s empowerment, the Prime Minister gifted a sapling to a beneficiary of a women’s self-help group under Madhya Pradesh’s ‘Ek Bagiya Maa Ke Naam’ initiative. Over 10,000 women in the state will participate in developing community gardens named Maa Ki Bagiya.
