PM Modi Greets Nation on Vishwakarma Jayanti, Lauds Contribution of Skilled Workers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday extended greetings to the nation on the occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti, honouring the contribution of artisans, craftsmen, and workers whose skills and dedication strengthen the foundation of a prosperous India.

In a social media post, PM Modi said, “Heartfelt greetings of Lord Vishwakarma Jayanti to all my family members across the country. On this sacred occasion of the special worship of the architect of creation, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the karmayogis engaged in new creation. Your talent and hard work are invaluable in building a strong, prosperous, and capable Bharatvarsh.”

The festival holds special significance for artisans, engineers, mechanics, and industrial workers, who seek blessings for prosperity, creativity, and success.

Meanwhile, PM Modi’s 75th birthday was marked with greetings from across the political spectrum. Union Home Minister Amit Shah called him a “symbol of sacrifice and dedication,” while President Droupadi Murmu said his leadership has “instilled a culture of achieving great goals” in the nation. Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Union Minister Piyush Goyal also praised the Prime Minister’s vision and contributions.

To commemorate the milestone, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a 15-day nationwide campaign, Seva Pakhwada, running from September 17 to October 2. The initiative will include blood donation drives, cleanliness campaigns, and exhibitions showcasing the government’s achievements.
