BJP MP Jagdambika Pal criticized the Opposition on Monday, just ahead of the Monsoon Session of Parliament, accusing them of deliberately disrupting proceedings despite having “no real issues” to raise.

Speaking to ANI, Pal said that the Opposition’s actions only waste the public’s money and valuable parliamentary time. “The Speaker allows ample time to raise issues. Disrupting the House in such a situation is unjustifiable. They have the opportunity to question and hold the government accountable. Yet, they fail to present any genuine concerns,” he said.

Targeting Congress leader Rahul Gandhi specifically, Pal remarked, “He earlier blamed EVMs for his electoral losses and is now questioning the voter list in Bihar. This reflects the lack of substantial issues on their part. I hope the House will function smoothly despite these tactics.”

The Monsoon Session, which kicks off Monday and runs until August 21, will see the government introduce several key bills across various sectors, including finance, governance, education, sports, and maritime affairs.
