The fervor of the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 is reaching new heights in Prayagraj, as devotees from around the globe join millions of Indian pilgrims in this grand spiritual gathering. According to the Uttar Pradesh DGP, more than 10 million devotees have already taken the holy dip at the Triveni Sangam, with the crowd continuing to grow.

Nitya Tarangini, a devotee from Russia, expressed her excitement over participating in the Maha Kumbh. Having been residing in Vrindavan, she told ANI, “I’m very excited because it’s such a huge opportunity to take part in this Kumbh Mela. It’s very special, with so many people coming together. We’re staying in Vrindavan, where we have a temple, and we came here to share these books, this knowledge, and Sanatana Dharma.”

Another foreign devotee highlighted the universal appeal of the Maha Kumbh, stating, “The spirit of India is very powerful at this moment. Jupiter and Saturn are aligned. Maha Kumbh is not just an occasion for India, it’s for the entire world.”

Makeshwari Dasi from the United States shared her sense of awe: “I feel like we’ve come to a very pure place. I’m looking forward to being among the people of India, sharing the waters with them, and chanting together. We’re very fortunate to experience not just India but also these profound spiritual places like Prayag.”

The spiritual essence of the event continues to resonate as Sadhus from the 13 Akhadas of Sanatan Dharma prepare for their holy dip at the Triveni Sangam, a sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers.

The Maha Kumbh is recognized as one of the largest and most significant religious gatherings in the world. Held every 12 years at one of four sacred locations in India, the ongoing Poorna Kumbh will culminate on February 26, 2025.
