Delhi Police have arrested Zikra, infamously known as the ‘Lady Don’, in connection with the brutal murder of 17-year-old Kunal in the Seelampur area of the national capital. The teen was stabbed to death in what authorities suspect was a revenge attack.

According to police sources, Zikra’s cousins, Sahil and Dilshad, who carried out the fatal knife assault on Kunal, are still at large, and efforts are ongoing to trace their whereabouts. Ten police teams have been deployed, and CCTV footage is being reviewed to track their escape routes as raids continue across Delhi.

During her interrogation, Zikra told investigators that the motive stemmed from a grudge over a prior incident. In November last year, her cousin Sahil was allegedly attacked by two boys, Lala and Shambhu — both friends of Kunal. Though Kunal was present at the scene, he wasn’t named in the FIR due to being a minor. Zikra and Sahil allegedly believed Kunal had orchestrated the attack and plotted revenge.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta condemned the murder and assured that justice would be delivered. “I have spoken to the Police Commissioner regarding Kunal’s murder. He was stabbed and rushed to LNJP Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival,” she told reporters.

Meanwhile, Kunal’s grieving mother expressed frustration over the police response, alleging that authorities were slow to act and may have allowed the attackers to flee.

“My son had been threatened earlier. That night, he went out to buy a samosa and milk. Within 15 minutes, we heard he had been stabbed,” she said.

Police continue to question Zikra about the current location of Sahil and Dilshad, as the search intensifies.
