“Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all the countrymen on the 76th Republic Day. On this national occasion, I pay my tribute to the Constitution makers, freedom fighters, and our brave soldiers who have safeguarded the sovereignty and unity of the nation,” Nadda posted on X.
The BJP President urged citizens to contribute to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India). “Let us all contribute towards fulfilling our commitment to democratic values and towards realizing the resolve of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji for a ‘Developed India’,” he added.

Today, India will mark its 76th Republic Day with a grand display of cultural diversity, unity, and military strength at Kartavya Path in New Delhi. President Droupadi Murmu will lead the celebrations, with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto attending as the Chief Guest.
In a bid to enhance public participation, around 10,000 Special Guests, from various walks of life, have been invited to witness the parade. These Special Guests include high achievers and individuals who have benefitted from government schemes, exemplifying India’s journey towards a Swarnim Bharat (Golden India).
This year’s parade will feature a first-ever tri-services tableau under the theme ‘Shashakt aur Surakshit Bharat’ (Empowered and Secure India). The tableau will symbolize the integration and jointness of the armed forces, showcasing a Joint Operations Room that facilitates communication among the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
The parade will commence at 10:30 AM, following a solemn tribute by Prime Minister Modi at the National War Memorial, where he will lay a wreath in honor of the nation’s fallen heroes. The parade will then begin with President Murmu taking the salute, followed by the President’s Bodyguard escorting the two Presidents in a traditional buggy.
The parade will also honor gallantry awardees, including Param Vir Chakra recipients Honorary Captain Yogendra Singh Yadav (Retd) and Subedar Major Sanjay Kumar (Retd), as well as Ashok Chakra winner Lt Col Jas Ram Singh (Retd). Additionally, a marching contingent from Indonesia’s Military Academy, consisting of 152 members and 190 military band members, will make its debut in India’s Republic Day parade.
The ceremony will culminate with the national anthem and the release of balloons bearing the official logo marking 75 years of the Constitution’s enactment, symbolizing India’s continued progress and unity.
