Indian Army, JK Police, and CRPF Conduct Joint Search Operation in Bandipora, 2 Arrested

The suspects were taken into custody, and further investigations by the police are underway.

A joint operation by the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and CRPF led to the apprehension of two suspects on Gandbal-Hajin Road in Bandipora, following specific intelligence inputs. The operation, carried out on Wednesday, resulted in the recovery of significant weapons and ammunition, including one pistol, one pistol magazine, two hand grenades, one AK magazine, and additional ammunition.

The suspects were taken into custody, and further investigations by the police are underway.

In related news, the Indian Army, in coordination with the Assam Rifles, Manipur Police, CRPF, BSF, and ITBP, has launched multiple operations in various districts of Manipur. These efforts have led to the recovery of 25 weapons, several Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), grenades, and other war-like materials. Security forces have also destroyed enemy bunkers in Kangpokpi district.

The recovered items, including firearms and ammunition, have been handed over to the local police for further investigation.
