In a joint operation, the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police have seized weapons and ammunition in the Bandi Mohalla area of Kupwara district.

The operation, which began on Friday, is still ongoing. The Indian Army confirmed the development, stating that the search was initiated on February 14, 2025, following specific intelligence inputs.

“On 14 Feb 2025, based on specific intelligence inputs, a Joint Search Operation was launched by #IndianArmy and @JmuKmrPolice in the general area of Bandi Mohalla, Channipura Pain, Kupwara,” the army posted on X.

During the search, two pistols, four pistol magazines, and ammunition were recovered.
