An intense encounter broke out between Punjab Police and a group of gangsters in Kheda village, located in the Tarn Taran district, on Saturday.
According to police sources, three gangsters were involved in the exchange of gunfire. During the confrontation, two of the gangsters sustained injuries, while one was successfully apprehended by the police. In the course of the shootout, a police vehicle was also struck by a bullet.
Authorities have confirmed that the situation has been brought under control, though further details are still awaited as the investigation continues.
