Emphasizing the need to strengthen health infrastructure, he said, “To become a Viksit Bharat, attention must be given to health.”
He noted that since his election to Parliament, he has worked to realize Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of providing every citizen with access to quality healthcare, education, and housing. He cited schemes like MUDRA as transformative for the youth and grassroots entrepreneurs across the country.
Jaishankar also shared updates from his Gujarat tour through a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter). “Pleased to visit Agar. Laid the foundation for the LDR Complex. Flagged off the vehicle for the local Navodaya School,” he posted.
In Jetpor, he performed the Bhumi Pujan for another LDR complex and virtually laid foundation stones for similar facilities in Kolvan and Sagai. He also flagged off a new ambulance under the MPLADS scheme for the Sub-District Hospital in Garudeshwar, calling it “part of continuing commitment towards improving health facilities in Narmada District.”
The minister also visited several ongoing projects, including smart classrooms, Anganwadis, and the operational Health and Wellness Centre. He praised the Smart Anganwadi in Amadla for boosting children’s attendance.
Highlighting the region’s ecological and tourism developments, he commended the progress of the Miyawaki Forest and the growth of tourism infrastructure in Ekta Nagar, including hotels, smart bus stops, food courts, and recreational spaces.
Speaking to the media, Jaishankar underscored the deeper meaning of Viksit Bharat: “It’s not just about better infrastructure and employment—it starts with the well-being and development of our children and youth through education, health, and skill learning. These small steps will lead to a bigger transformation.”
