A significant Dharma Sansad, organized by the renowned spiritual leader and Bhagwat Katha orator Devkinandan Thakurji Maharaj, is set to take place today at the ongoing Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. The primary aim of the Dharma Sansad is to advocate for the creation of a Sanatan Board, which will focus on the welfare and security of Sanatan Dharma and its temples.

In a statement to ANI, Devkinandan Thakurji Maharaj explained, “We all want the establishment of a Sanatan Board, and we are submitting a proposal to the government. All Dharmacharyas want to ensure the welfare of Sanatan and the security of temples. This is the main focus of the upcoming Dharma Sansad. I am here to oversee the preparations, and people are arriving in large numbers for this event.”

The Dharma Sansad will be graced by several prominent saints, Gurus, and leaders of the Sanatan tradition, including:

In a video posted on X, Devkinandan Thakurji Maharaj appealed to Hindus to join the Dharma Sansad, urging them to voice their demand for the creation of the Sanatan Board. “Why is this injustice to us? I am praying in front of you, as well as before Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Sanatan people need Dakshina for this Kumbh, and that will be the Sanatan Board,” he said.

Thakurji Maharaj also called for unity among Hindus to strengthen the demand for the Sanatan Board in a post on X. “The Sanatan Dharma Parliament, set to be held on January 27 during the Mahakumbh, is like a religious yajna. Let us all come together and raise the demand for the establishment of a Sanatan Board with strength,” he wrote.

Today’s Dharma Sansad will play a key role in laying the foundation for drafting the constitution of the proposed Sanatan Board. The event highlights the growing movement for the protection and promotion of Sanatan Dharma and its institutions.
