The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is gearing up for a series of high-profile rallies in Delhi ahead of the upcoming assembly elections. These rallies will feature top leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP President JP Nadda, and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. Several Chief Ministers and key leaders from various states, including Yogi Adityanath (Uttar Pradesh), Pushkar Singh Dhami (Uttarakhand), Himanta Biswa Sarma (Assam), and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, will also participate in the campaign.

Prime Minister Modi is expected to hold three to four rallies in the last week of January, according to senior BJP sources.

As part of its strategy to target Purvanchali voters, the BJP will launch a series of rallies starting January 23, with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath leading the charge. Adityanath is scheduled to address 14 rallies in key locations across Delhi, including Kirari, Outer Delhi, Keshav Puram, North West Delhi, Shahdara, Karol Bagh, Najafgarh, Mehrauli, South Delhi, and Mayur Vihar.

Other prominent Purvanchali leaders, such as MPs Ravi Kishan, Manoj Tiwari, Nirahua, Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary, and Union Minister Giriraj Singh, will also campaign extensively in Delhi. These leaders will hold rallies in various constituencies and lead bike rallies in areas with significant Purvanchali voter populations.

In its outreach efforts, the BJP has already conducted over 2,500 small meetings and drawing-room gatherings across the city. On Makar Sankranti, the party planned to organize around 70 “baithaks” (meetings), with 50 successfully completed so far. These initiatives aim to highlight the welfare schemes implemented by the central government and convince voters of the benefits of electing a BJP government in Delhi.

Purvanchali voters, who make up approximately 50% of Delhi’s electorate, are a key focus for the BJP. The party also hopes to garner support from voters in slum areas, many of whom hail from Purvanchal.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to interact with BJP workers through the online program “Mera Booth Sabse Majboot” on January 21, further energizing the party’s campaign.

The BJP’s intensive campaign efforts underscore its determination to make significant inroads in Delhi, leveraging its top leaders and focusing on key voter demographics.
