BJP President JP Nadda Arrives in Kerala to Attend Mata Amritanandamayi’s 72nd Birth Anniversary

Nadda will participate in the 72nd birth anniversary celebrations of spiritual leader Mata Amritanandamayi, popularly known as “Amma,” at the Amritapuri Ashram in Vallikavu, Kollam district.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President and Union Minister JP Nadda arrived at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport on Saturday morning. He was received by Kerala BJP President Rajeev Chandrasekhar and other senior party leaders.

Nadda will participate in the 72nd birth anniversary celebrations of spiritual leader Mata Amritanandamayi, popularly known as “Amma,” at the Amritapuri Ashram in Vallikavu, Kollam district. The event draws devotees and dignitaries from across India and abroad.

Following the celebrations, Nadda is scheduled to chair organisational meetings with BJP state office bearers at The Quilon Beach Hotel & Convention Centre, focusing on party preparedness, upcoming local body elections, and strengthening grassroots networks in Kerala.

Earlier this week, Nadda participated in a cleanliness drive in New Delhi as part of the Seva Pakhwada initiative, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. Sharing his participation on X, Nadda urged citizens to contribute to a clean, healthy, and green India, aligning with the Swachhta Hi Seva 2025 campaign.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also paid tribute to Upadhyaya on Thursday at the BJP Headquarters in New Delhi on his 109th birth anniversary.
