Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Praveen Khandelwal on Thursday launched a sharp attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), accusing it of disrespecting democracy and spreading anarchy. He claimed that the alleged scams committed by AAP over the past decade would soon be brought to light.

Addressing the issue of AAP MLAs being denied entry into the Delhi Assembly premises, Khandelwal asserted that AAP had no genuine interest in the assembly’s proceedings. “AAP is afraid their truth will be exposed in front of the people of Delhi. These people do not respect democracy and are only spreading anarchy. One by one, all the scams they committed in the last 10 years will be exposed,” Khandelwal said while speaking to ANI.

When asked about the suspension of AAP MLAs and Leader of Opposition Atishi questioning their denied entry, Khandelwal acknowledged that while it’s an MLA’s right to enter the assembly, he alleged that AAP leaders showed no real interest in legislative discussions.

Meanwhile, BJP MLAs highlighted urgent issues affecting their constituencies during the assembly session. BJP MLA Anil Sharma raised concerns about the worsening water and sewerage problems in RK Puram. “In RK Puram, wherever I went, residents complained about water and sewerage issues. In several villages, sewage flows 24 hours a day. Immediate government action is needed to address these serious concerns,” Sharma said.

Similarly, BJP MLA Mohan Singh Bisht spoke about the severe water crisis in Mustafabad, despite the existence of a water treatment plant. “People in Mustafabad are struggling for drinking water. We once received pure Ganga water, but today the situation has deteriorated drastically. The water supply pipelines are damaged, and I urge the Water Minister to address this issue without delay,” Bisht stated.

As tensions rise between the ruling AAP and the BJP, these ongoing issues and accusations continue to fuel heated debates in the Delhi Assembly.
