India’s star batter Virat Kohli and his wife, actress Anushka Sharma, melted hearts with their adorable celebration following India’s emphatic four-wicket victory over New Zealand in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final on Sunday.

As videos spread rapidly on social media, fans saw Kohli rushing toward the stands in excitement to embrace Anushka after India clinched their third ICC Champions Trophy title. The couple’s joyous celebration, filled with smiles and hugs, was met with roaring cheers from the crowd and has been winning hearts online.

Earlier during the match, Anushka was spotted looking visibly disappointed when Kohli lost his wicket. However, her joy was unmistakable after India’s thrilling victory, as she celebrated alongside her husband and the team.

The celebration wasn’t limited to the stadium, as Bollywood celebrities joined the wave of congratulations. Actress Kriti Sanon, attending the IIFA 2025 awards in Jaipur, shared her excitement about the win.

“When I heard all the shouting and hooting, I thought, ‘Who has entered?’ And then, of course, I realized it was a double celebration! I’m extremely proud and so happy. Tonight, we are not only celebrating 25 years of IIFA but also India’s victory,” Kriti said.

“Celebrating IIFA’s 25th anniversary in India, among our own people, makes it even more special. And now, with India’s win, it’s truly a double celebration,” she added.

Veteran actor Chiranjeevi also congratulated Team India on their historic achievement.

“Proud and Overjoyed!! Congratulations Team India!! India – The Champions!!! Jai Hind!!” he posted on X.

India’s all-round performance sealed the ICC Champions Trophy title in Dubai. Captain Rohit Sharma led from the front with a crucial half-century, while Shreyas Iyer’s steady knock and outstanding bowling by spinners Varun Chakravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav ensured the win.

This victory marks India’s third ICC Champions Trophy title, having first won in 2002 (shared with Sri Lanka) and again under MS Dhoni’s captaincy in 2013.
