Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan recently inaugurated a film festival named in her honor. During the event, the “Jab We Met” star opened up about her personal life, sharing a sweet and humorous anecdote about her son, Taimur Ali Khan.
When asked if Taimur, now 7, was aware of the festival named after his mother, Kareena had a lighthearted response. “Right now, both Taimur and Jeh (her younger son) are too young to fully understand these things,” she explained. However, Taimur has become aware of the attention he receives, thanks to the paparazzi who often follow him and his family.
Kareena Kapoor recounted a cute moment with Taimur, revealing that he asked, “Why are they chasing me? Am I famous?” She responded playfully, “No, you’re not famous. I’m the famous one. You haven’t done anything yet.” Taimur, determined as ever, replied, “Maybe one day I will be.” Despite his budding curiosity about fame, Kareena shared that Taimur is currently more focused on football than films. “Right now, all he thinks about is football. Hopefully, one day he’ll watch my movies,” she added with a smile.
Kareena’s relationship with her family continues to be a focal point in her life. She married actor Saif Ali Khan in 2012 after the two fell in love on the sets of the 2008 film ‘Tashan’. Before this, they had worked together in films like ‘LOC Kargil’ (2003) and ‘Omkara’ (2006). Their romance blossomed during ‘Tashan’, and they tied the knot on October 16, 2012.
The couple welcomed their first child, Taimur, in 2016. He quickly became a favorite of the media and public, with his adorable looks and playful demeanor often making headlines. In February 2021, Kareena and Saif had their second child, Jeh Ali Khan. Saif also shares two children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan, with his former wife, Amrita Singh.
