Pattie Mallette, mom of pop sensation Justin Bieber, has shared her delight at becoming a grandmother for the first time following the arrival of her grandson, Jack Blues Bieber. This joyous news comes just weeks after Justin and his wife, Hailey Bieber, welcomed their little one into the world.
Mallette, 49, took to Instagram to express her excitement. In a recent story, she posted a lively video featuring a beloved character from “Saturday Night Live,” joyologist Helen Madden, portrayed by Molly Shannon. Accompanying the clip, she wrote, “How do you like being a Grandmother!” Shannon’s character exuberantly responded, “I love it, I love it, I LOVE it! Every second of it—I love it!”
Her affection for baby Jack has been evident since his birth. Shortly after welcoming him, Mallette shared her heartfelt sentiments on social media: “Oh my heart. Welcome baby Jack!! I love you so much! Thank you, Lord. What a miracle!” She further celebrated the occasion with a congratulatory tweet directed at the new parents: “CONGRATULATIONS @justinbieber & Hailey. I LOVE YOU FOREVER BABY JACK!!”
The excitement doesn’t stop there. Hailey’s father, Stephen Baldwin, also expressed his joy by replying, “Amen. Congratulations to you and may God continue to bless our family.” The mutual support among the family highlights the loving bonds they share as they embark on this new chapter together.
Pattie has long been proud of Justin’s evolution into fatherhood. On Father’s Day, she posted an emotional tribute on Instagram, recalling how her son has always dreamed of being a dad. “You’ve always wanted to be a dad ever since I can remember. You have so much love to give. You’re gonna be the best daddy ever. You already are. LOVE YOU!!” she wrote, showcasing her belief in his parenting abilities.
Though the couple has chosen to maintain a relatively low profile since Jack’s birth, they have expressed their aspirations for a growing family. During a 2020 appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Justin shared his desire to have a big family. “I’d love to have myself a little tribe,” he said, emphasizing his support for Hailey’s wishes regarding their family size. “It’s her body and whatever she wants to do—I think she wants to have a few.”
Justin and Hailey’s journey as a couple began with a surprise engagement during a trip to the Bahamas in July 2018, followed by a courthouse wedding in New York City later that year. They celebrated their love again with a larger ceremony in South Carolina in 2019, and this year, they renewed their vows in a private ceremony in Hawaii, which also served as the announcement of Hailey’s pregnancy.
The couple announced the birth of their son, Jack Blues Bieber, on August 23, sharing a touching Instagram post that featured a close-up of Hailey cradling their baby’s tiny foot.
