On Thursday, fashion enthusiasts and design aficionados gathered at The Dhan Mill in New Delhi to celebrate a significant milestone for the fashion brand Falguni Shane Peacock. The occasion marked the grand opening of their new pretwear store, which also coincided with the brand’s 20th anniversary.

The store, designed by the renowned interior designer Gauri Khan, offers more than just a shopping experience. It embodies the distinctive style of Falguni Shane Peacock, reflecting their high-fashion ethos. For Gauri Khan, the project was an opportunity to blend her evolving design sensibilities with the brand’s eclectic style.

In an interview with ANI, Gauri Khan expressed her excitement about the project, noting how her design approach has transformed over the years. “My design sense evolves with each project, bringing new inspiration and a fresh perspective,” she shared. Gauri’s vision for the store was to capture the essence of Falguni Shane Peacock’s luxury pretwear collection through a Renaissance-inspired design.

The store’s design features elements that celebrate the brand’s two-decade journey. Gauri incorporated Renaissance-inspired motifs and custom brass monogram furniture, adding a personal touch to mark this significant anniversary. “Designing this store was about translating Falguni and Shane’s unique style into a physical space,” Gauri explained.

The new store is more than just a retail space; it’s a beautifully curated environment that allows shoppers to explore Falguni Shane Peacock’s contemporary collections in a setting that feels both luxurious and inviting.

This project is just one of many that showcase Gauri Khan’s evolving design expertise. Earlier this year, she redesigned her husband Shah Rukh Khan’s Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) office, incorporating a beige backdrop and the team’s motto, “Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo Re,” into the design. The office also prominently features KKR’s trophy collection.

Gauri Khan’s portfolio extends beyond fashion retail. She has also designed notable restaurants such as Arth and Sanchos and runs Gauri Khan Designs in Mumbai. Her work spans various high-profile projects, including revamping several celebrity homes and dining spaces in suburban Mumbai.
