Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani, accompanied by his wife Dr. Priti Adani and son Karan Adani, visited the Adani-ISKCON kitchens in Puri during the annual Jagannath Rath Yatra, where the family actively participated in kitchen service alongside volunteers.

As per an official release by ISKCON, the Adani family inspected the large-scale kitchen operations that serve sanctified vegetarian meals (prasadam) to lakhs of pilgrims daily. During the visit, volunteers warmly invited Gautam Adani to join them in the kitchen. Despite initial concerns from his security team, he agreed and was seen rolling puris and stirring sabji, engaging wholeheartedly in the seva.

Dr. Priti Adani also joined the kitchen activities, and in a touching moment, Karan Adani stepped in to assist her when she struggled to lift a large utensil. The gesture was warmly received by devotees and volunteers, who viewed it as a heartfelt demonstration of humility and devotion.

“Gautam Adani’s willingness to step into the kitchen, even briefly, was a powerful message to all of us,” ISKCON management stated. “It reminded us that true greatness lies in service, not position.”

ISKCON further noted that the Adani family’s hands-on participation reflects value-based leadership and sets a meaningful example for other corporate leaders to embrace and support India’s spiritual and cultural heritage with personal involvement.

The Adani-ISKCON kitchens are also operational during events like the Kumbh Mela, providing large-scale community meals as part of the group’s philanthropic efforts.
