TVS Motor Company has reported its highest-ever quarterly sales, clocking 12.77 lakh units in Q1 of FY 2025–26. This milestone reflects a strong 17% year-on-year growth in two-wheeler sales, which rose from 10.56 lakh units in Q1FY25 to 12.32 lakh units this quarter. Three-wheeler sales also surged 46%, increasing from 0.31 lakh units to 0.45 lakh units.
In June 2025 alone, the company recorded total monthly sales of 402,001 units, marking a 20% increase compared to 333,646 units sold in June 2024.
Segment-wise Highlights:
- Two-Wheelers:
Sales rose 20% year-on-year, reaching 385,698 units in June 2025, up from 322,168 in June 2024.- Domestic sales increased 10% to 281,012 units.
- Motorcycle sales grew 24% to 188,774 units.
- Scooter sales jumped 26% to 162,291 units.
- Electric Vehicles (EVs):
TVS sold 14,400 EVs in June 2025, slightly down from 15,859 units last year. The company attributed the decline to supply chain challenges, particularly magnet shortages, though TVS iQube retail performance remains robust. - Exports:
International sales saw a 54% rise, from 76,074 units in June 2024 to 117,145 units in June 2025.
Two-wheeler exports specifically surged 58% to 104,686 units. - Three-Wheelers:
Three-wheeler sales grew 42%, reaching 16,303 units in June 2025, compared to 11,478 units a year earlier.
