“Our government is encouraging those establishing industries and pursuing self-employment by offering various facilities. Now, entrepreneurs setting up industries in Bihar will be given a special economic package,” the Chief Minister said.
As part of this package, capital subsidy, interest subsidy, and GST-related incentives will be doubled. Land will be made available across districts for industrial development, with industries generating higher employment eligible for free land allotment.
Kumar further stated that land dispute issues related to industrial projects will be swiftly resolved, and entrepreneurs who set up industries within the next six months will receive the full range of benefits. Additional measures to support new businesses will be detailed in a forthcoming government notification.
“The objective of this initiative is to promote industries in Bihar, equip our youth to become skilled and self-reliant, and provide them with maximum employment opportunities to secure their future,” he added.
The announcement comes ahead of the state assembly elections scheduled later this year.
