Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s national address on Operation Sindoor, stating that the Prime Minister has sent a clear and resolute message to Pakistan: terrorism and dialogue cannot go hand in hand.
Speaking to ANI, Sachdeva said, “In his address, PM Modi saluted the valour and courage of our armed forces. He has given a clear message to Pakistan that terror and talks cannot go together. The entire nation is standing with PM Modi and the armed forces.”
In his address delivered via videoconference on Monday, Prime Minister Modi highlighted India’s recent military response to terrorism and emphasized the country’s strength and restraint in equal measure. He extended a heartfelt salute to India’s armed forces, intelligence agencies, and scientists for their decisive contributions.
PM Modi accused Pakistan’s military and government of nurturing terrorism, warning that such actions would only accelerate Pakistan’s downfall. “If Pakistan wants to survive, it must dismantle its terror infrastructure. There is no other path to peace,” he declared.
Reaffirming India’s unwavering policy, the Prime Minister stated, “Terror and talks cannot go together. Terror and trade cannot run parallel. Blood and water cannot flow together.”
Addressing the global community, he reiterated that any future dialogue with Pakistan will focus solely on terrorism and the issue of Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Speaking on the occasion of Buddha Purnima, the Prime Minister invoked Lord Buddha’s teachings, stressing that peace must be anchored in strength. He underscored that a strong India is essential for a peaceful future and that the country must act when its principles are challenged.
“Our path is peace, but our resolve is strength,” Modi stated, adding that India’s recent actions have showcased its firm commitment to national security and sovereignty.
Concluding his address, PM Modi once again saluted the courage of the armed forces and lauded the unity and resilience of the Indian people, reaffirming his vision for a strong, dignified, and Viksit Bharat (Developed India).
