Oil marketing companies have announced a reduction in the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinders by ₹41, effective from Tuesday.

In Delhi, the retail price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder now stands at ₹1,762. This follows a minor price cut of ₹7 on February 1.

Oil companies regularly revise LPG prices based on fluctuations in global crude oil rates and other economic factors. However, the prices of domestic LPG cylinders used for household cooking remain unchanged in this revision.

In December, oil companies increased the rates of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders by ₹62. These frequent price adjustments significantly impact commercial establishments and small businesses that rely on LPG for daily operations.

This latest revision aligns with broader trends in fuel price adjustments, influenced by global market conditions and volatility in international crude oil prices.

The price reduction is expected to provide some relief to businesses such as restaurants, hotels, and other commercial entities that depend on LPG for daily use. Despite the cut in commercial LPG rates, domestic cylinder prices remain steady, ensuring stability for households.

LPG prices vary across states due to differences in local taxes and transportation costs. While the reduction offers businesses some financial relief, the overall impact remains marginal.
