On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Rajasthan’s Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari expressed her optimism for women’s empowerment, highlighting the support of the current government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She called this era a golden opportunity for women to achieve their dreams and reach new heights.

“I congratulate everyone on the occasion of International Women’s Day. I just want to say that we should keep moving forward and sky is the limit. We can do whatever we want, as this is the best time right now. There is such a government in the country, PM Modi is standing with us and I think that the women of the country can touch the sky. This is a golden opportunity for women in the country and outside,” Kumari said.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also extended his wishes on this special day. Taking to social media platform X, he wrote, “Infinite best wishes to all the residents of the state and the entire mother power on ‘International Women’s Day’! Women are not only the pivot of the family but also the foundation of the development of society and the nation. Their contribution is invaluable and indispensable in every sphere of life.”

He further reaffirmed his government’s commitment to women’s welfare and equal opportunities. “In line with the mantra of ‘Nari Tum Narayani’, our government in Rajasthan is continuously ensuring that women get the best opportunities and resources for their rights, education, health and economic independence. Let us all together build a society where there is no place for gender discrimination and women can fully develop their talent and potential,” CM Sharma stated.

As a symbol of women’s empowerment, the Central Railway made history by deploying an all-women crew on the Vande Bharat Express for the first time. The train, numbered 22223, departed from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) to Sainagar Shirdi, operated entirely by women, including the Loco Pilot, Assistant, Train Manager, and Ticket Examiners.
