A minor fire broke out at the Bandra Terminus Coaching Depot in Mumbai on Saturday evening, Western Railway officials confirmed. The fire was quickly controlled and fully extinguished without causing any injuries or disruptions to train services.
The fire occurred in a room within the depot’s storage area at 10:35 PM. By 10:40 PM, three fire tenders were deployed to the site, with depot staff also present to assist in the response.
Officials from Western Railway assured that the fire was swiftly contained and clarified that the incident had no impact on train operations. Since the affected area is a non-passenger zone, no passengers were involved, and there were no injuries reported.
