Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for bolstering India’s global image, emphasizing that the country’s brand has been significantly reinforced under his tenure. Speaking to ANI at the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2025 in Davos, Naidu underscored the importance of collaborative efforts to achieve double-digit economic growth.

“The brand of India has been reinforced under the Prime Minister’s leadership. India is strong and widely recognized by the global community, global investors, and nations around the world. That is the message. This Davos meeting provides valuable ideas for the global community, many of which we are already implementing. We need to focus on execution. If all of us work together, we will achieve double-digit growth, which is vital for India,” said Naidu.

Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh echoed these sentiments, highlighting the state’s proactive approach to economic development. “This Davos meeting is a comeback for Andhra Pradesh. We have made it clear that our state is open for business. If you look at the projects we’ve launched in the past seven months, no other state has achieved such progress. Strong states build a strong nation, and ‘India First’ is our strategy here at Davos,” Lokesh said.

The WEF Annual Meeting 2025, held from January 20 to 24 in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, features India’s largest-ever delegation, including five Union ministers, three state chief ministers, and nearly 100 CEOs and leaders from government, civil society, and the arts.

India’s Pavilion at the 55th WEF conference showcases eight states—Kerala, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and West Bengal—all vying for investment opportunities and presenting their unique strengths to global business leaders.

With a strong presence at Davos, Indian leaders continue to promote the country’s economic potential while reinforcing the message of unity and growth under PM Modi’s leadership.
