Jessica Alba recently opened up about her fondness for her role as Sue Storm in the beloved superhero franchise, ‘Fantastic Four.’ In an interview with *People*, she expressed her enthusiasm for the character and the iconic films, which include the 2005 original and its sequel, ‘Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer,’ released in 2007.

When asked about the possibility of returning to the role, Alba’s response was enthusiastic. “Yeah, of course. I loved playing that character,” she said, recalling the joy she found in portraying Sue Storm, also known as the Invisible Woman. Alba’s passion for her character is evident as she reminisces about the positive experiences associated with those films. “I’d be open to anything in the Marvel universe. I’m a fan of all the superhero stories, and it was a great time in my life,” she added, making it clear that she would welcome the opportunity to step back into the superhero spotlight if given the chance.

The original ‘Fantastic Four’ movie, directed by Tim Story, introduced audiences to a fresh take on the classic Marvel Comics superhero team created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. The ensemble cast included Ioan Gruffudd as Mister Fantastic, Chris Evans as the Human Torch, and Michael Chiklis as the Thing, alongside Jessica Alba as Sue Storm. The films not only entertained fans but also contributed to the superhero genre’s rise in popularity during the mid-2000s.

Looking ahead, Marvel is gearing up to introduce a new version of the Fantastic Four in ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps,’ set to be released in 2025. This reboot will feature a fresh cast, including Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. Notably, Robert Downey Jr. is set to return to the Marvel universe, this time as the formidable Doctor Doom, the primary antagonist in upcoming projects like ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars.’

Interestingly, Chris Evans, who famously portrayed the Human Torch in the earlier films, is also making waves in the superhero realm once again. He will reprise his role in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine.’ Speaking about this return, Evans shared how it all came together through a text from his friend Ryan Reynolds, who suggested a storyline that would allow him to revisit his character from the past. “He just said, ‘Listen, if you don’t like this idea, no worries whatsoever. But I have something that could really bring the house down,'” Evans recounted.
