Alia Bhatt and Sharvari have touched down in the picturesque region of Kashmir to kick off the filming of their much-anticipated spy thriller, Alpha. The two stars were spotted at Mumbai airport earlier in the day, ready to embark on their new cinematic journey.
Alia Bhatt, accompanied by her young daughter Raha, was seen at the airport in a stylish black baggy pantsuit. Little Raha sported a matching black outfit, making for a coordinated mother-daughter duo. Alia’s mother, the renowned actress Soni Razdan, also made an appearance at the airport shortly after them.
Sharvari opted for a laid-back airport look, donning a chocolate brown tank top paired with beige pants. The casual ensemble suited her relaxed demeanor as she prepared to delve into her role in the film.
The film is being directed by Shiv Rawail, who is stepping into the director’s chair for this action-packed project. Shiv is the son of veteran filmmaker Rahul Rawail, adding an exciting legacy element to the film’s production.
Sharvari recently took to Instagram to express her enthusiasm about the project. She shared a photo with Shiv Rawail from the film’s set, captioning it with her excitement: “It doesn’t get bigger than this! Super stoked to start my #Alpha journey today! Adding to the buzz, Yash Raj Films (YRF) recently released a teaser video on their official Instagram account, featuring Alia Bhatt’s voiceover. In the video, Alia introduces Alpha with a dramatic narration: “Greek alphabet ka sabse pehla akshar Aur humare program ka motto… sabse pehle, sabse tezz, sabse veer. Dhyaan se dekho toh har sheher mein ek jungle hai. Aur jungle mein hamesha Raj karega… ALPHA!”
Alpha joins the ranks of YRF’s successful spy universe, which began with the popular Tiger series starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, and continued with blockbuster hits like War and Pathaan. The franchise has consistently delivered high-octane thrillers, with Pathaan and Tiger 3 becoming major hits in 2023.
