Tamil Nadu Secures ₹7,020 Crore Investments, 15,000 Jobs During CM Stalin’s Germany Visit

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin concluded the Germany leg of his two-nation investment tour with the signing of 26 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) worth ₹7,020 crore, expected to generate over 15,000 jobs in the state.

At the TNRising Germany Investment Conclave on Tuesday, 23 MoUs worth ₹3,819 crore were inked, creating opportunities for over 9,000 jobs. In total, the visit brought in 26 MoUs across renewable energy, automotive components, and advanced R&D sectors.

Stalin hailed the outcome on X, saying, “Global leaders have chosen Tamil Nadu for their next phase of growth. Just as Germany is the industrial backbone of Europe, Tamil Nadu is the industrial heartbeat of India.”

The CM also engaged with BMW executives, urging them to scale up operations in Tamil Nadu. BMW reaffirmed its long-term commitment, highlighting the state’s strong EV ecosystem.

Stalin emphasised that his mission was not only to attract investments but also to build a trade bridge between Germany and Tamil Nadu, uniting “German precision with Tamil Nadu’s potential.”

The state government said these investments reaffirm Tamil Nadu’s position as a centre of excellence in renewable energy, advanced engineering, and EV manufacturing, further strengthening its role as India’s industrial hub.
