Modi also outlined the government’s vision for India’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) Mission, focused on building world-class infrastructure with high-quality data sets and research facilities. “We are committed to making AI in India among the best in the world,” he said.

As part of this initiative, the Prime Minister announced the launch of super hubs for AI, Intelligent Systems, Biosciences, Biotechnology, Health, and Medicine at IIT Kanpur and IIT Bombay. Looking ahead, Modi underscored the urgency of achieving the vision of a developed India by 2047, setting a 25-year timeline. “Time is limited and the goals are vast,” he said. “We must shorten the journey from prototype to product, and from lab to market. Only then can research benefit the public more swiftly.”

The PM concluded by reaffirming his belief in the capabilities of India’s youth and the nation’s commitment to becoming a global leader in science, technology, and innovation.
