BJP MP Manoj Tiwari has accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of losing power due to “corruption” and a “criminal mindset.” Speaking to ANI, Tiwari stated that Kejriwal’s intentions to deceive were key factors in his party’s defeat in the Delhi Assembly elections, while emphasizing that the BJP’s victory was driven by a commitment to development and trust in Prime Minister Modi.
Tiwari also highlighted the delay in the presentation of crucial Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) reports, which are now set to be tabled in the Delhi Assembly under the newly formed BJP-led government, led by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. These reports include audits and assessments of various government programs and initiatives, some of which have raised concerns over transparency under the Aam Aadmi Party’s governance.
The reports cover several key areas, including state finances, revenue audits, performance audits on environmental issues, and public health infrastructure, all of which have drawn attention for being withheld under the previous government.
