On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the exhibition at the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. During his visit, the Prime Minister engaged with the participants and explored their innovative projects.

The two-day Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue, organized by the Department of Youth Affairs, commenced on Saturday at Bharat Mandapam. The inaugural session featured prominent figures, including Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs & Sports Raksha Khadse, Anand Mahindra, Palki Sharma, S Somnath, Pawan Goenka, Amitabh Kant, and Ronnie Screwvala. The ceremony began with the lighting of a lamp and a floral tribute to Swami Vivekananda, whose ideals continue to inspire India’s youth.

The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue aims to break from the 25-year tradition of the National Youth Festival, offering young leaders a national platform to present their ideas for a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India). This initiative aligns with Prime Minister Modi’s Independence Day appeal to engage 1 lakh youth in politics without political affiliations, allowing them to contribute to the nation’s progress.

In the coming days, the Prime Minister will release a compilation of the best essays submitted by participants, covering topics such as technology, sustainability, women empowerment, agriculture, and manufacturing.

A unique aspect of the event will be the Prime Minister’s participation in a lunch with the young leaders, where they will have the opportunity to share their ideas, experiences, and aspirations directly with him.

Earlier, BJP National President and Union Minister JP Nadda praised the ‘Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogues’ program, emphasizing how such platforms empower young people and inspire them to contribute to nation-building. In a post on X, Nadda shared his experience, stating, “I hosted the young leaders of Himachal Pradesh under the ‘Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogues’ program in New Delhi. I shared my journey and listened to their innovative ideas and fresh perspectives.”

He further noted, “Platforms like this instil a sense of empowerment and confidence among youngsters, inspiring them to contribute meaningfully to nation-building. I am excited by their energy and passion and impressed by their commitment to the vision of Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi ji for ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’.”
