At Beyond Fest 2024 in Los Angeles, actor NTR Jr received an extraordinary reception during a special screening of his blockbuster movie ‘RRR’.

Fans packed the venue, greeting the star with thunderous applause and a standing ovation when he took the stage. The event highlighted the deep admiration and respect NTR Jr commands from his global fanbase.

This screening set the stage for another exciting event – the world premiere of NTR Jr’s highly anticipated film ‘Devara: Part 1’, scheduled for September 26 at the Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles. Directed by Koratala Siva, ‘Devara: Part 1’ marks NTR Jr’s return to the big screen following his critically acclaimed performance in ‘RRR’, which won both a Golden Globe and an Academy Award.

In ‘Devara: Part 1’, NTR Jr portrays dual roles, playing both Devara and Varadha in a story filled with intense drama and conflict. Set in a coastal region, the film revolves around power struggles and shifting dynamics.

The recently released trailer has sparked excitement, offering glimpses of an epic showdown between NTR Jr’s character and Bhaira, played by Saif Ali Khan. Bhaira, a master of kushti (wrestling), sees his dominance challenged by the arrival of Devara, setting the stage for a thrilling conflict.

The trailer further teases a layered narrative involving Bhaira’s strategic efforts to crush Devara’s growing influence. Alongside the central conflict, the film also weaves in a tender love story, with Janhvi Kapoor playing Thangam, a village woman caught in a romantic relationship with NTR Jr’s on-screen son. While the son’s nature contrasts with his father’s, he may be drawn into the larger struggle at the heart of the film.

This film reunites NTR Jr with Koratala Siva, who previously directed him in the hit movie ‘Janatha Garage’. Produced by Kosaraju Hari Krishna and Sudhakar Mikkilineni under the NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts banners, ‘Devara: Part 1’ will be released in five languages—Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi—on September 27, catering to audiences across India and beyond.
